Pensacola Christian College is the center for design of the A Beka school curriculum, which is used in about 10,000 Christian schools in America and worldwide.

Thompson received two continuing education credits upon completion of the one-week seminar. Others teachers at Cape Christian School who completed the Summer Seminar last year include Barbara Lohrmann, Terry Maire and Dena Shelton.
