The theme for the 2012 Parade of Lights is "All I Want for Christmas," Old Town Cape announced in a release Wednesday. The parade is scheduled for Nov. 25, and begins at dusk at Capaha Park. The parade will proceed east on Broadway, then south on Main Street, and end at Main and Independence streets. "For many, this is the official opening of the Christmas season," parade co-chairwoman Vicki Zickfield said. "We try to keep it fun and festive because it's all about the season." According to Old Town Cape, all floats must be lighted and have Christmas music playing and are limited to the first 100 entries.
