John Seay of Cape Girardeau is among 10 delegates from Southeast Missouri elected to Missouri's Silver-Haired Legislature.
Seay will served as a representative from the Southeast region along with Helen Hines of Fredericktown.
Silver-Haired Legislature delegates are elected and participate in a mock legislature which is held in October in Jefferson City. Delegates write, discuss and debate bills and resolutions on issues that are of concern to older Missourians.
The Southeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging helps coordinate the program.
