The Teen Pregnancy and Responsibility Network will meet Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the Cape County Public Health Center, 1121 Linden. The meeting is open to everyone.
The group was established in 1986 as a community task force charged with studying the problems of teen pregnancy in the area. Members of the task force come from all professions and segments of the community.
The purpose of the group is to educate young males and females about responsibility.
The task force has sponsored various activities, including an essay contest, speakers and plays dealing with peer pressure. The group also produced a teen resource book and has a lending library housed at Southeast Missouri State University.
