TEEN HOSPITALIZED IN VEHICLE ROLLOVER

PULASKI, Ill. -- Arrests were pending in a one-vehicle accident near here Friday morning that left two Dongola teen-agers injured.

Johnny Schneider, 17, the driver, and Ezekiel Pennington, 14, a passenger, were taken to Union County Hospital following the accident.

Schneider was treated and released from the hospital, and Pennington, who had injuries to his right arm, was reported in good condition Friday night.

The accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. a half-mile south of Pulaski, the Illinois State Police reports.

Police said the southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway, striking several trees.
