A Jackson teenager faces multiple charges in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries.
Nicholas S. Talley, 18, was arrested Thursday after Jackson police received a complaint about someone breaking into vehicles at an apartment complex on Old Toll Road, the Jackson Police Department reported in a news release Friday.
When officers responding to the scene found Talley, he had items believed to have been taken from the vehicles; marijuana; and drug paraphernalia, the release stated.
Online court records show Talley is set for arraignment Monday on a felony charge of theft of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession; unlawful use of drug paraphernalia; and theft of less than $500 worth of property or services.
He is in the Cape Girardeau County Jail on $10,000 bond.
