A Delta teenager charged with burglary Wednesday in Cape Girardeau County may face additional charges of manufacturing methamphetamine after authorities said they found a "shake and bake" lab in his house Thursday.

Jeriel Malachi Brooks, 19, is accused of breaking into a home in Whitewater in June, when he allegedly stole a safe and a briefcase. Brooks is also charged with misdemeanor stealing.

Brooks remains in custody of the sheriff's department on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.
