OAK RIDGE -- A team of students from Oak Ridge High School participated in the Missouri Science Olympiad competition held earlier this month at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
To qualify for the state tournament, the team placed second in a regional competition.
Scheduled events included bio-process lab, bridge building, chemistry lab, circuit lab, computer programming, physics lab, road rally and science bowl.
Members of the team are Sheri Ahrens, April Price, Dana Seabaugh, Amy McMillan, Rachael Goad, Resa Strickland, Dale Bolin, Sally Wibbenmeyer, Sarah Strickland, Lynnette Roberts, Michael Riehn, Jason Glueck and Shawna Slinkard.
