TEACHERS HOLD OFFICES IN IRA

Three area teachers have been elected to offices with the International Reading Association.

Mary Wilhite of L.J. Schultz School, Cape Girardeau, will serve as parliamentarian and River Heritage zone coordinator for the state council.

Marsha Miller of Orchard Drive Elementary School, Jackson, will serve as the 1991-1992 president of the Southeast Council.

Barb Egbert of May Greene Elementary School, Cape Girardeau will serve as president-elect of the Southeast Council.

The International Reading Association is dedicated to improvement of reading instruction, promotion of lifetime reading habits, professional development of its members and development of literacy worldwide.
