TAYLOR NAMED PUPIL OF THE YEAR AT SCHULTZ

Bonnie Taylor has been named Student of the Year at L.J. Schultz Middle School in Cape Girardeau.

Taylor was first place winner of the Breakfast Optimist Oratorical Contest, winner of the Martin Luther King Essay Contest, Exchange Club Outstanding Young Citizen Award recipient. She was named to the A honor roll, was student of the month twice, and was a peer helper, a member of the Drama Club, Scholar Bowl and performed in "The Little Mermaid" school musical.

She is the daughter of Phillip and Helen Taylor.
