"Barbershop, Bells and Brass" will be the theme when the Girardot Rose Chorus of Sweet Adelines, International, presents a program of seasonal music Saturday, Dec. 2.
The concert of barbershop arrangements will be presented at 5 p.m. and at 8 p.m. at the Rose Theatre on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
Also performing will be the University Brass Ensemble under the direction of Marc Fulgham. Guest performers will be the New McKendree Bell Choir of Jackson, directed by Catherine Martin.
The Sweet Adelines are directed by Irene Stevens.
The concert will offer a balance of religious and secular music.
The master of ceremonies for the program will be Sgt. Carl Kinnison of the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Tickets are available from Girardot Rose Chorus members or at the door. General admission is $8. Admission for seniors is $5, and $5 for children ages 4 to 12.
