Cape Girardeau County officeholders are sworn in Thursday, Dec. 29 by Circuit Judge Scott A. Lipke in a ceremony at the County Administration Building in Jackson (from left): Frank E. Miller, Associate Circuit Judge Division 3; Julia M. Koester, Associate Circuit Judge Division 4; Clint Tracy, Presiding County commissioner; Ashley Schuessler, clerk of the Circuit Court; Kara Clark Summers, county clerk/election authority; Andrew David (Drew) Blattner, recorder of deeds; Mark J. Welker, prosecuting attorney; Eugene (Pete) Frazier, auditor; and Barbara Gholson, collector of revenue. All were elected Nov. 8, 2022.
