Miner police were not involved in the pursuit but assisted when Miner police officer Will McCormick deployed stop sticks at the intersection of Routes HH and H to help end the pursuit, according to Keith Adams, dispatcher for the Miner Police Department.

Unconfirmed reports indicate the vehicle driven by the suspect was reported stolen from the Days Inn hotel in Sikeston.
