A Missouri Department of Mental Health official will address the seventh annual meeting of the Depressive and Manic-Depressive Association of Southeast Missouri Oct. 25.
The meeting will be held in conference rooms A and B of St. Francis Medical Center. Registration and a social period begin at 6:30 p.m.
The department official, Fred McDaniel, is the central regional manager of the Division of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services in Jefferson City. His topic will be "Lives Beyond Limitations."
Awards will be presented and dues-paying members will elect four executive board members to serve through 1997.
McDaniel is a former director of Missouri's Division of Youth Services and former superintendent of Farmington State Hospital. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration degree from Southeast Missouri State University and masters' degrees in community development and public administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Anyone may attend the free meeting.
