More than 100 motorcycle riders are expected to participate in this year's poker and observation run Sunday. The run will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The ride is sponsored by the SEMO H.O.G. Chapter of Harley Owners Group. The event is open to anyone with any type of motorcycle. Or participants could drive the route in a car.
During a poker run, participants pick up a playing card at each of five stops. The person with the best poker hand wins. An observation run is a visual scavenger hunt.
Registration is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau Eagles Lodge, 321 N. Spring. The entry fee is $6.
The last bike is due in at 4:30 p.m. at B&D's in Benton where a meal will be available. In addition, door prizes will be awarded and a raffle held.
Last year, 120 people participated.
