According to a preliminary head count compiled after the first full day of classes during the eight-week summer session which began Tuesday, Southeast Missouri State University currently has 2,668 students enrolled.
That figure was down 30 students one percent from this time a year ago.
The total number of graduate students is 518, up 35 (or seven percent) from last year. Total undergraduate head count is 2,150, down 65 students (or three percent).
The total number of part-time undergraduate students is 1,109, up 12 percent from last year. The total head count for part-time graduate students is up 13 percent, from 266 in 1992 to 301 this year.
Enrollment continues through June 25. The university's official 1993 summer semester census wil be available after June 30.
