STUDENTS RECEIVE BEAUTY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Fourteen students from 11 communities have received scholarships to Stage One, The Hair School in Cape Girardeau.

The beauty school at 904 Broadway is owned by Keith and Susan Koepp.

Scholarships, in the amounts of $500, were presented to students from area high schools. The recipients are Chantel Lawrence and Candy Duvall, from Perryville High School; Rebecca Bentley, Chaffee High School; Christy Hinkebein, Jackson High School; Amy LaRue, Kelly High School; Jennifer Roseman, New Madrid County Central; Jody Thompson, Oak Ridge High School.

Misty Yount, Meadow Heights; Jana Cook, Marquand-Zion R-6; Leandra Walker, Barbara Medley and Samatha Bailey, of Scott City High School; Mary Beth Clubb, Greenville High School; and Rachel Bolden, East Prairie High School.
