STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARD

Gennifer Owen and Jason Azuma have each received an agriculture scholarship from the Spiese Fund at the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri.

Owen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David I. Owen of Oran. She plans to study agricultural economics.

Azuma is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Azuma of Cape Girardeau. He plans to study chemistry.

Undergraduate students from the Bootheel area are given preference to receive shcolarships from the fund, which was established in 1988 from the estate of Helen Mae Spiese.
