SCOTT CITY -- Sixth graders at Scott City School participated in a social studies and science fair. Sixty-two projects were completed by students, who chose their own topics in 11 categories. SCOTT CITY -- Sixth graders at Scott City School participated in a social studies and science fair.

Sixty-two projects were completed by students, who chose their own topics in 11 categories.

Tonya Mathews won the fair's grand prize for her exhibit, "When the Earth Shakes." She was first place winner in the Natural Happenings.

Other Natural Happenings winners are: Angie Hamilton, second place; Simon Irvin, third place.

Biology: Christi Shaw, Amie Arnold, Adam Andrews, first place; Stephanie Crabtree, second place; Kathy Nesbit, third place.

Archaeology: Casey Butcher, first place; Kari Mayberry, second place; Jim Henson, third place.

Chemistry: Jessica Tranum, second place.
