Five area students have been named to the dean's list at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

To be named to the dean's list, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and maintain a 3.0 grade point average.

Cape Girardeau students named to the list are Christy Vandeven, Paula Welker and Sandra Bounds.

Vandeven is the daughter of James and Alice Vandeven and is a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School.

Welker is the daughter of Jerry and Charlotte Welker and is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame High School.

Bounds is the daughter of Emmett and Harumi Bounds and is a 1993 graduate of Central High School.

Khristine Abernathy of Jackson was named to the list. She is the daughter of Louis and Nancy Hobbs and is a 1984 graduate of University High School.

Donna Lynn of Benton was named to the list. She is the daughter of Donald and Katherine Lynn and is a 1994 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School.
