Nine students at the Cape Girardeau Area Vocational-Technical School have been inducted to the local National Vocational-Technical Honor Society chapter.
To be eligible, students must be graduating seniors with a cumulative grade average of 8.0 or better and demonstrate good character and work ethics.
New members are Michael Culbreath, air conditioning/refrigeration program, from Liberty Christian School; Justin Drum, computer technology program, Central High School; Trisha Emmons, careers in health care, Scott City High School; Kim Givens, careers in health care, Scott City High School; Kathryn Haycraft, careers in health care, Central High School; Jason Huckstep, electronic technology, Jackson High School; Jill McClard, careers in health care, Delta High School; Joe Taylor, design drafting, Jackson High School; and Blake Tilley, design drafting, Central High School.
