STUDENT TO ATTEND PILGRIMAGE

The Tuesday Club, General Federation of Women's Clubs of Missouri, sponsored Claire Syler, a student at Cape Girardeau Central High School, to attend the annual Sophomore Pilgrimage in Jefferson City April 8 and 9.

The pilgrimage promotes good citizenship and enables outstanding sophomores to see state government in action.

Syler is on the A honor roll, a member of Beta Club and the tennis team, the pom-pon squad and was in the cast of "Oklahoma." She is a member of Young Life, Girls Concert Choir and the First Presbyterian Church. She is the daughter of Judge William and Georganne Syler.
