STUDENT RECEIVES SCHOLASTIC HONOR

Sharon Andrews, daughter of James and Carolyn Andrews of Chaffee, has been placed on the dean's list at Cottey College.

To be named to the list, a student's grade-point average must be between 3 and 3.49 on a 4.0 scale, with a minimum of 12 credit hours completed. Andrews is a first-year student at Cottey.

Cottey College is a private, two-year liberal arts college for women in Nevada, Mo.
