STUDENT ORCHESTRAS WILL PERFORM HERE TUESDAY

The Cape Girardeau Central High and Junior High School string orchestras will perform Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Central High School auditorium.

The performance is open to the public.

The high school orchestra will perform "Allegro from the Water Music," by G.S. Handel, featuring soloists Mala Ahuja, Casi Krauss and Robin Waldo.

The orchestra will also perform works by Alexander Von Kreisler, Marpurg, Marchetti, LeRoy Anderson and Talivaldis Kenins.

The junior high orchestra will perform a fiddle tune, "The Arkansas Traveler," along with "Highland Dance," and "Suite for Strings" by Elliot A. Del Borgo.
