STUDENT EARNS CONDIT AWARD

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Josef Werne, a student at Cape Central High School, has been awarded the Condit Scholarship to attend DePauw University next fall.

A senior, Werne was required to pass an examination and successfully complete an interview with members of the DePauw faculty to qualify.

Condit scholarships provide $5,500 toward tuition and are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence and plan to major in a science.
