STUDENT CHOSEN FOR PILGRIMAGE

SCOTT CITY -- Bryan Burger of Scott City has been selected to represent his school at the annual Sophomore Pilgrimage.

Burger is the son of Mike and Judy Burger of Scott City.

He is being sponsored by the Coalesce MFWC Club in Cape Girardeau.

Burger is a member of 4-H Club, Pep Club, Model U.N., Future Business Leaders of America, Science Club, Student Council, varsity football team, baseball and track teams.

He won the Hugh O'Brien Award and was named All-Conference First Team Football and All-District Football.

The alternate candidate selected was John Scott Flynn, son of John and Belinda Flynn of Scott City.

Flynn is a member of his church youth group, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Pep Club, Speech and Debate Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, SADD, Scholar Bowl. He is also class treasurer.
