STROHMEYER SELECTED FOR STATE ARTS PANEL

Beverly Strohmeyer, executive director of Southeast Missouri Council on the arts, has recently been appointed to the Missouri Arts Council's Community Arts Program Advisory Panel.

As one of seven panel members selected from through-out the state, Strohmeyer will serve until June 30, 1992.

The Advisory Panelists review applications for funding submitted by Community Arts Councils from throughout the state and recommend funding levels to the Council. In addition to reviewing applications, Advisory Panel Members monitor Council-funded events in their area.

Strohmeyer also serves on the Board of Directors of Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies as the Community Arts Administrators Network representative.
