STRAIT WILL PERFORM HERE

Country music's George Strait will perform at the Show Me Center on Feb. 29 with special guest Pam Tillis.

Strait's achievements include 22 No. 1 singles, 10 gold albums, four platinum albums and the 1989 Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year Award.

Tillis will open the 8 p.m. show with hits from her current release, "Put Yourself in My Place."

Tickets are $18.50 and go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. at the Show Me Center box office, Sears, Disc Jockey Records in Cape Girardeau and Carbondale, Ill., Mercantile Banks in Poplar Bluff, Sikeston, Perryville and Dexter, or by phone at 651-5000.

The first five rows of seats are available only through the box office.
