STOVERINK NAMED TO STATE GROUP'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cape Girardeau Assistant City Manager Al Stoverink last week was named to the board of directors of the Missouri City Management Association.

The association is a professional organization of about 115 city managers or administrators and assistants, representing cities across the state.

Stoverink joins Martin Corcoran, Maplewood city manager; Dave Johnston, Jefferson City city administrator; and James Norris, Gladstone city manager on the board of directors.

Michael G. Herring, Chesterfield city manager, was named president of the association and Robert L. Irvin, Kirksville city manager, was named vice president.
