SEMA to hold briefings for county officials

The State Emergency Management Agency will conduct public assistance briefings for officials in counties requesting public assistance resulting due to severe weather in September. A briefing will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Osage Community Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. Public officials must file a request for assistance with SEMA by Dec. 12 to be eligible for reimbursement. Local counties approved include Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry and Scott.
