The concert is a fundraiser to benefit the Southeast Missouri Music Academy, a not-for-profit that offers music instruction to students of all ages in Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area. The proceeds from the concert go toward providing tuition waiver scholarships for students who could otherwise not afford music lessons.
