St. Mark Lutheran Church will open its Christian Preschool in September.
The facility, under construction, is scheduled for completion in June. The building will feature a vaulted sanctuary on the upper level and will house the preschool facility on the ground level. The large classroom will access a fenced play yard.
The school will offer programs for 3- and 4-year-old children, said a spokesman.
Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 4-year-olds and Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3-year-olds.
Enrollment will be open to all area children.
Sandy Cox is president of the school's board. Other board members are: Kathy King, Paul Kipper, Carolyn Pendergrass, Linda Train, Terri Zuabke, and the Rev. Craig Nessan.
