ST. LOUIS -- A St. Louis woman who jumped off a roof while fleeing police after a restaurant holdup has pleaded guilty to robbery.

Michelle Faye White, 34, pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree robbery. She faces sentencing Jan. 4.

White admits flashing a red toy gun at the drive-thru window of a White Castle restaurant on Aug. 22, 2011, then crawling through the window and grabbing $617 in cash.

Another customer wrote down White's license plate number. Police tracked her to her apartment building, where she ran to the roof and jumped about 30 feet.

White suffered a broken pelvis and a broken arm that led to serious infections while she was in jail.
