ST. LOUIS -- A man who allegedly ran a red light is blamed for an accident that caused a police SUV to flip over in downtown St. Louis.

The accident happened about 2 a.m. Monday at Locust Street and Tucker Boulevard. A 30-year-old man has been arrested.

Police say the man was driving a 2007 Infiniti G35 when it struck the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 46-year-old police sergeant. The officer was treated and released at a hospital.
