ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis police officer escapes injury after his patrol car was fired upon at least 10 times.
The officer responded to a call Wednesday night, then got back into his patrol car to leave when shots were fired. Police say the officer drove away to escape the gunfire.
Other officers called to the scene determined that the patrol car was fired upon at least 10 times. One bullet penetrated the driver's side of the car but missed the officer.
There are no suspects, and an investigation continues.
