ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis man faces another court hearing in June after pleading not guilty to the shooting death of an 80-year-old woman.
Terrance Wren is charged with first-degree murder. The 22-year-old suspect entered the plea Wednesday.
Julia Steele was shot in the side of the head while driving near her home in January. Investigators say Wren and another man in a car were targeting a rival gang member, but shot three innocent bystanders, including Steele.
Steele lost control of her car after being shot and crashed into parked vehicles. The wreck left a passenger in her car injured.
Wren remains jailed without bond.
