Glover D. Cody, 34, and defense attorney Scott Reynolds appeared before Associate Circuit judge Gary Kamp. After hearing two US Bank employees from the Cape Girardeau branch and victim Robert Aspley of St. Louis testify, Kamp found the state had shown probable cause for the charges and ordered the defendant bound over to Circuit Court Division I. Cody's next court appearance will be Feb. 2.

One of the bank employees brought photos from bank security cameras showing the defendant standing at the counter Dec. 22, said Prosecuting Attorney Morley Swingle.
