ST. LOUIS — With the Rams gone, the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority is seeking to find a use for the team’s vacated practice facility in the suburb of Earth City.
The authority has hired the Sansone Group as the leasing agent and property manager for the 300,000-square-foot complex vacated when the NFL in January approved owner Stan Kroenke’s plan to relocate to Los Angeles.
The announcement Tuesday came even as the Rams and the St. Louis sports authority are involved in a legal dispute over ownership of the practice facility. The team believes it has an option to buy the training facility in 2024 for $1 based on a provision in the original lease. The authority filed suit in March in an effort to keep it.
