St. Joseph School in Scott City has many plans for this week. On Monday, Classroom Day, we will begin our weekly festivities with mass. In the afternoon, teachers will switch classes. Tuesday is Family Day with a special luncheon and classroom visit for the parents. Later a special volleyball and kickball match will be held with the parents facing their children. Wednesday, is Community Day with special guest speakers talking about their occupations. Students will be dressed as an occupation. Thursday is World day with a special luncheon treat for all the teachers. Students will see a special movie after morning classes. Friday will feature a brand new event for our school's Catholic Schools Week. We will have a Beach Day. After the closing liturgy at 10:15, students will don beach wear and have a brown bag lunch on our "beach". After lunch students will participate in a Wacky Olympics with such events as an ice cream eating contest, a diaper relay and a blind dress-up relay. They'll be fun for all.
