St. John's Lutheran Church of Pocahontas will be celebrating their 130th anniversary on Sept. 13 in conjunction with their annual Mission Festival.
The schedule for the day includes Sunday School at 8:45 a.m., and Worship Services at 10 a.m. with guest speaker Kudud Natru from Papua, New Guinea. The Sweet Adelines will provide special music for the celebration and a potluck meal will follow at the parish hall. The public is invited to attend.
