POCAHONTAS, Mo. -- St. John Lutheran Church will host a "Walk Thru the New Testament" Feb. 10.
The seminar uses interactive learning techniques to help people remember key characters, geography and major themes of the New Testament.
Auditorium floors will be the maps that guide participants through the Bible.
"A lot of the people know some of the highlights of the New Testament but they don't know how it all fits together," said the Rev. John Kiehl, pastor of the church.
After the seminar, people won't fumble when looking for topics in the New Testament, he said.
"Their spiritual lives will be revitalized as they gain a more intimate understanding of the Bible," Kiehl said.
Anyone interested in attending the seminar, should call Kiehl at (573) 833-6980 or Joy at (573) 833-6343.
The walk-through seminars are conducted by teachers from "Walk Thru the Bible," an education ministry with headquarters in Atlanta.
