Kristin Rossum, 25, smiled and cried Friday as she hugged her parents, who helped secure her bail and win her release from Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.

Rossum was taken into custody in June, seven months after her husband, Gregory Devillers, 26, was found dead in their apartment. Autopsy results showed he died of an overdose of fentanyl, a powerful painkiller.
