Chris Rushing has been named sports director for Newsradio 960 KZIM in Cape Girardeau.
Rushing, 24, is a May graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a degree in mass communications.
Rushing, a Poplar Bluff native, previously worked with a Zimmer Broadcasting affiliate, KWOC, at Poplar Bluff. His duties here will include play-by-play responsibilities for football and basketball teams, including the Southeast Missouri State University Indians. Rushing played football for the Indians, as a lineman.
