Spaghetti Day 2023 a success

Thousands enjoy Spaghetti Day on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau. The event raised money for the City of Cape Girardeau's Park and Recreation Department's facilities and programs.

Diners enjoy lunch on Spaghetti Day 2023. Meals consisted of spaghetti, mostaccoli, garlic bread, salads, drinks and dessert.

Diners could either eat spaghetti at the Arena Building or take their meals to go. Soon after the event began, the takeout line was already dozens strong.

Spaghetti Day is an annual event hosted by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation.
