Southeast Missouri State University is among 17 institutions nationwide listed in a report of the Association of American Colleges' (AAC) "Project on Strong Foundations." It lists schools that have improved their general education curricula.
The report was released during the AAC annual meeting in Washington, D.C., in January.
The "Project on Strong Foundations for General Education" was launched in 1991 to assist colleges and universities in strengthening their general education curricula and developing organizational support for such curricula.
