Southeast Missouri State University has hired former Missouri Department of Revenue official Richard Lamb to serve as campaign director for the school's fund-raising foundation.
A 1991 Southeast graduate, Lamb served as deputy director of the Department of Revenue's division of motor vehicles and driver licensing.
He began his new duties at Southeast last month at a salary of $47,000. He previously served as political director of the Missouri Democratic Party, and as assistant to the director of boards and commissions in the governor's office.
Lamb will work to secure major donations and continue the current capital campaign.
