Junior midfielder Megan Hejlek scored the lone goal to lead the Southeast Missouri State women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Thursday.
Hejlek scored an unassisted goal in the 22nd minute, firing in a shot from 20 yards out following an SIUE foul.
Senior goalkeeper Carina Souza made two saves in posting the shutout.
Southeast (10-5-2) outshot SIUE (13-5) 12-8.
Southeast hosts Alabama A&M at noon Sunday.
