Students at Southeast Missouri State University may earn college credit for up to 30 semester hours through the Credit By Examination Program offered by the school's Testing Services.
Both prospective students and currently enrolled students may take the exams, provided certain requirements are met.
Southeast participates in the national College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), serving as an open testing center for any student and all participating universities.
To supplement the CLEP program for Southeast students, a Local Credit by Exam Program also is available.
Examinations are offered monthly, except in December. Deadlines for registration are three weeks prior to the test date. The registration deadline for the May 19 test is May 1.
In addition, Advanced Placement Examinations are available in some high schools.
Applications and additional information are available through Testing Services, 713 N. Henderson or by calling (314) 651-2836.
