Southeast offering free tickets to upcoming stage production

Southeast Missouri State University is offering 10 pairs of free tickets to the upcoming River Campus musical, "Into the Woods."

According to a university news release, the giveaway is part of a national project designed to attract new audiences to live performances.

This is the first year the university has participated in the project, called Free Night of Theater. The project was introduced by Theater Communications Group, a national organization that promotes not-for-profit theater.

The tickets will be for the final two shows on Oct. 1 and 2. To enter the drawing, email a name, address and telephone number to theatreanddance@semo.edu, with "Free Ticket Giveaway" in the subject heading before Sept. 28. Winners will be contacted by telephone on Sept. 29.
