Dr. Ron Anderson, superintendent of the Jackson School District, said Duncan's former duties will be divided among existing staff. A replacement search will most likely not begin until next year, he said, because top administrators already have positions set for the upcoming school year.

Development officers work in the office of Umiversty Advancement and are responsible for soliciting donors and establishing relationships with alumni.
